My company needs to buy more server licenses. How does that work?

You can buy additional licenses for your company at any time.

The license belongs to the company, so any employee with a MyMMCD account is able to access the available seats.

Please note that the subscription renewal date is based on the date of purchase and subsequent purchases on the same account will have different renewal dates.

For example:

On Dec 1, the company has 9 licenses with 3 different expiry dates, which they will need to renew on their annual renewal dates.

Enabling Pop-up Windows in Chrome

Go to the webpage that you are trying to access (e.g. MMCD Documents My Online Documents)
Click the icon with three vertical dots in the top right, and select Settings
Select Privacy and Security in the settings menu
Scroll down and select Site Settings
Scroll down and select Pop-ups and Redirects
Confirm that the ‘allow pop-ups’ slider is turned on, or add the site URL to the ‘Allowed’ list at the bottom of the page.

Go to the MMCD webpage where you want to allow pop-ups
Click the icon with three horizontal bars in the top right corner
Select Options if you’re on Windows, or Preferences if you on a Mac
Select Privacy and Security
Scroll down to the Permissions section until you see ‘Block pop-up windows’ and select Exceptions
Enter the MMCD website into the exceptions field, and click save changes.

Enabling Pop-ups in Internet Explorer

Go to the MMCD webpage where you want to allow pop-ups, and copy the URL
Click the gear icon on the far right, and select Internet Options
Select Privacy
Under Pop-up Blocker ensure the Turn on Pop-up Blocker checkbox is checked, and then click Settings
Paste the MMCD website URL into the 'allow' field and click Add.

Enabling Pop-ups in Safari

From the Safari menu, choose Preferences... and click the Security tab
Ensure the Block pop-up windows option is not checked. Unchecking this option will allow pop-ups
To block pop-ups once again, check the Block pop-up windows checkbox.

(Note: Safari doesn’t allow you to block pop-ups on a per site basis, pop-ups are either ‘on’ or ‘off’)

Can I download the MMCD 2019 Server Edition to my computer or mobile device?

The MMCD 2019 Server Edition is only available by logging into your MyMMCD account on the MMCD website.

Is some kind of registration or account creation required for each user or seat?

Accepted Answer

The license(s) purchased by a company are accessible by all employees of a company. To access the document, you must have an account in MyMMCD that is connected to the company.

Each employee who wants to access the Server Edition will be required to create a MyMMCD account connected to your company's name. Ensure that you connect with the name of the company that is already in the database. If you enter a variation of your company name, then you will not be able to access the licenses attached to your company.

When you login to your MyMMCD account, you will be able to view the document on the My Online Documents page.

How does the MMCD 2019 Server Edition work?

The MMCD 2019 Server Edition is a subscription-based document. Companies will need to renew their subscription on a yearly basis.

The 2019 Server Edition will allow teams to access their purchased MMCD documents on our server, from wherever they’re working: via computer, mobile phone or tablet. The documents are accessed on a server via the MMCD website page: MMCD - My Online Documents

For example:

Company A buys the MMCD 2019 Server Edition license(s)
Employees of Company A login to their MyMMCD account from any device.
Once logged in, an employee can view the Server Edition on the My Online Documents page.
Access is only limited to the number of licenses purchased. For example: If Company A buys 5 licenses, then any 5 employees will be able to access the documents at the same time - from anywhere.

Question 9

Will previous editions of the MMCD also be available to view in the MMCD 2019 Server Edition?

Accepted Answer

Currently the MMCD 2019 is the only publication accessible by server. If you own previous versions, you will still access them via the method you bought them (mobile or desktop license). The MMCD 2019 edition contains all content from our 2009 MMCD Platinum Vol. II, plus all updates through 2019, amendments, and detailed images to help clients understand address and solve problems.
