What is the registration process for the MMCD CCA Exam?

Please complete all fields on the fillable PDF registration forms electronically. We will not accept forms that are printed and completed by hand.

  1. Pay the examination fee when you register for the CA Course

When you register online for your CA course, select the option that reads "+ exam".

  1. Submit your student profile & examination references 2 weeks before the CA Course start date

You must submit both your student profile (download here) AND written references to the MMCDA office two weeks prior to the first day of your contract administration course, so we can consider your qualifications for writing the exam once you complete the course.

Your student profile is a fillable PDF form that must be completed electronically, and saved on your computer. Please do not print the form and complete it by hand; difficulty reading illegible writing will delay processing your request.

Your references must follow the below guidelines. Note that failure to submit this documentation will result in ineligibility to write the exam.

Your references (minimum of three) must provide a letter outlining the project name, project value, date of project, description of applicant's role in the project, a brief description of the project, and the contact information for the reference (phone number and email).

References should be in Word or PDF format on company letterhead.

Please collect all of your references and submit them all at one time to the office by email, with the subject line worded as follows: "Your Student Name Here (First & Last Name): References for CA Examination".

3. Wait for the office to confirm of your approval to write the examination

The MMCD Association office will forward your references to the Board of Directors for review. We ask for your patience while the Board reviews your file. Our volunteer directors understand and respect the value of your time and the effort that goes into achieving the CCA designation. They will make every effort to review your file so you hear back from the office prior to the course date - barring exceptional circumstances.

4. Submit your Proctor Qualification Form

When you have been approved for the examination, the office will send you a Proctor Qualification Form. If you do not receive this form with your notice of approval to write, please contact [email protected] and request one. The Proctor Qualification Form is a fillable PDF that must be completed electronically and returned to the MMCD Association office as an attachment to an email. Please do not print the form and complete it by hand as this will delay processing your request.

5. Await receipt of your examination

Our office will send your examination package directly to your Proctor.
