In addition to taking the Contract Administration Course, candidates must meet three criteria: a) P.Eng., EIT or AScT registration or minimum 5 years' relevant field construction experience b) Documented field administrative experience and duties on at least three projects using MMCD documents with a construction value of $500,000 or more c) References (sent directly to MMCD Association) to verify responsibility and duties from: ---An owner's representative supervising the candidate's duties on one or more MMCD projects; ---A contractor's representative who worked with the candidate on one or more MMCD contracts; ---Current employer's verification of contract management duties and assignment.
The price varies, depending on membership status with MMCD Association. CCA Exam fees are in addition to the course fee.

It's a 4-hour, open book exam, with any non-electronic reference material permitted. Most candidates write the exam within 2 weeks of taking the Contract Administration Course. All candidates writing the exam must be supervised the entire 4 hours by a qualified Proctor The Proctor collects and sends the completed the exam(s) back to our office. Candidates who achieve the passing grade of 75%. will receive their certificate by mail. Candidates who missed the mark have up to 2 years to take the course again and/or rewrite the exam - free of charge.
The CA course is offered in two formats: 2 full (8-hour) days, or 4 half (4-hour) days.
